This abandoned clinic is inspired by the amazing work of Duha Shreiteh. I loved the warmth and inviting feeling, despite its dilapidated nature.
I started by reference gathering old backyard doctor's offices and home offices. I found various references for old school physicians chairs. For the ceiling construction, I wanted to find something with texture and visual interest, that would fit the time period. I found that lath and plaster offered a lot of options for wood sizing and materials. I also researched various chicken breeds and felt the buff orpington and light sussex would be good candidates for color, contrast, and availability.
I am responsible for all aspects of this piece except for above mentioned inspirations and exterior ground assets/foliage, which were sourced from megascans. The only foliage piece I did create is the english ivy.
