I've been tracking their movements for months. They've been careful not to leave evidence. I heard whispers from a settlement south of Maine that a few kids went missing. They think they were using the old ranger cabins for wayward hikers to nest in the day. I know I have to find him, but I can't help but hope he isn't there. He's all I have left, even if he's already gone.
This is my final piece with Gnomon as part of my free post graduation class. I wanted to explore the VFX side of games as well as megascans asset integration and metahuman. The story is always at the forefront of my work, and while I was placing the scans and integrating the trees it began to develop and evolve. I am responsible for lighting, asset integration, animation and creation of the vampire, Luger P08 and backpack. I sculpted the vampire in zbrush and maya, with a focus on internal anatomy as the layers are pealed away and revealed. I used a lot of autopsy reference and drew inspiration from Ryan Kingslien's anatomy tool. The burning effect was created with material functions as well as VFX utilizing Ember Gen.
I want to thank all my wonderful and talented friends who have helped push me and support me throughout my time at Gnomon and the incredible instructors that helped me see my potential. It's been a life changing couple years and I am incredibly excited for everything ahead.
